Frequently Asked Questions

I am a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) and an International Behaviour Therapist (IBT) with more than 20 years of experience in the field of applied behavior analysis. I received my Doctorate in Education with a minor in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Nova Southeastern university in 2013. My areas of expertise include early intervention, positive behaviour support, training and organizational behaviour management (OBM), autism spectrum disorder etc. I have worked in a variety of settings, including national organizations, vocational centres, residential centres and early intervention institutes providing and supervising ABA services for individuals of all ages. I am passionate about helping aspiring and practicing behavior analysts develop their clinical skills, enhance their ethical decision-making, and achieve their professional goals.

My supervision rates vary depending on the type of supervision (individual or group), the frequency of sessions, and the specific needs of the supervisee. These rates reflect the time dedicated to supervision, including session time, case review, feedback provision, and ongoing mentorship. I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your specific needs and provide you with a personalized fee schedule. We can also discuss payment options and payment plans during this consultation.

The frequency of supervision sessions is determined collaboratively based on your individual needs, certification requirements, and availability. For RBTs, supervision is required at least once per month, but more frequent supervision may be beneficial, especially for those new to the field. For BCaBAs and BCBAs, the required supervision hours vary depending on the number of hours worked during the month. We can discuss a schedule that works best for both of us during our initial consultation, considering factors such as your caseload, experience level, and learning style.

I offer both in-person supervision at my office in Melbourne and telehealth supervision using secure video conferencing platforms. Telehealth supervision offers added flexibility and convenience, especially for supervisees who are located remotely or have scheduling constraints. We can discuss which format is most suitable for your needs during our initial consultation.

I believe that feedback is essential for professional growth. I provide regular, constructive feedback that is specific, actionable, and delivered in a supportive and encouraging manner. I strive to balance positive reinforcement with areas for improvement, focusing on helping you develop your skills and build your confidence. I encourage open communication and welcome your feedback on my supervision approach as well.
